City Council heard an update from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office regarding calls-for-service crime statistics in Castle Pines for 2022. Council also heard from the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce about recent and upcoming events.
Meeting highlights include:
- Approving a bid award for the 2022 Castle Pines Parkway reconstruction from Yorkshire to Village Square Lane, including substantial Lagae Road intersection improvements. Council’s approval of this project demonstrates the City’s continued commitment to the Roads Solutions effort. - Approving a fee for the collection of unpaid Municipal Court fees and fines.
- Approving the creation of a right-of-way permit to allow temporary placement of dumpsters and storage pods in the public right-of-way.
- Approving a non-residential minor development final plat for Canyonside Filing No. 3 to subdivide the property to prepare for sale.
