With spring and yard projects in full swing, the City is hosting a free slash collection event for residents on Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elk Ridge Park.
"Slash" is debris, from nature, such as tree limbs, prunings, and pine needles. If not removed, slash can increase potential fire hazards on your property. Removing slash, and creating defensible space around your home, is the first line of defense against wildfires. Visit the City's website for more information. CastlePinesCO.gov/Slash
