Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on different parks and recreation programs, parks and recreation legislative policies, updating the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation, park, and play facilities. The Board consists of five citizens from various backgrounds who are appointed by the City Council. The Board meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Douglas County Library, 360 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines or virtually.

As we continue to practice social distancing for your health, the safety of this community and our staff, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meetings will be hosted virtually until further notice. Download our Electronic Meeting Participation Policy here.
