Meeting highlights from the July 26 City Council meeting include:
- A presentation from City Manager Michael Penny, during the study session, reviewing the City's 2022 Strategic Plan.
- Approving a resolution naming a future City park that will feature a disc golf course and trails. After receiving more than 160 naming suggestions from the public, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board developed a shortlist of five names. From that list, City Council selected Pronghorn Park and Disc Golf Course. Visit the City's park webpage for more information on the park. The park is expected to open in 2023.
