The popular Winter Wonderland events return! A series of events, both new and returning, will be held at The Ridge at Castle Pines, brought to you by the City of Castle Pines and the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce. Some events require registration or ticket purchases in advance, so be sure to sign up before they sell out.
Tree Lighting
Friday, Dec. 2, from 5-7 p.m.
The Ridge at Castle Pines Â
Celebrate the holiday season with a tree lighting at The Ridge. Activities will include a meet and greet with Santa, reindeer, train rides, food trucks, and carolers. The event will also mark the beginning of this season's Trail of Lights. This event is free.
Trail of Lights
Wednesday to Sunday, Dec. 3 - Dec. 18, from 5-8 p.m.
The Ridge at Castle Pines
Get in the holiday spirit and enjoy a stroll through holiday lights at The Ridge from 5-8 p.m. No reservations are required. The Trail of Lights will be open Wednesday-Sunday until Sunday, Dec. 18.
Gingerbread DecoratingÂ
Sunday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The Ridge at Castle Pines
Join us for gingerbread decorating at The Ridge! Your registration includes a pre-built gingerbread house along with extra candy to decorate with. You will receive these items at the event and will take your final product home to enjoy. There will be three decorating sessions: 10-11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and 1-2 p.m. (Gingerbread decorating is at capacity. We are not currently accepting additional reservations.)
Holiday Movie Night: Elf
Friday, Dec. 9, from 5-8 p.m.
The Ridge at Castle Pines
Pass through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly gum drops and then... walk through the Lincoln Tunnel and join us at The Ridge. Enjoy a family movie night featuring Elf; wear your favorite jammies, and bring your cozy blankets and sleeping bags for this fun family evening. A limited number of reservations are available, so grab your tickets soon. All cotton-headed ninny muggins are welcome! Doors open at 5 p.m., with the movie beginning at 6 p.m. Register here.
Holly Jolly BreakfastÂ
Saturday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The Ridge at Castle Pines
This annual event is a favorite in the Castle Pines community. Come spend time with Santa and enjoy a delicious continental-style breakfast, listen to a reading of the Night Before Christmas, and sit on Santa's lap so you can tell him what you want for Christmas this year! A limited number of reservations are available, so grab your tickets soon. Three time slots are available at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and noon. Register here.
Carriage Rides
Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18, 4-8 p.m. (reservations required)
The Ridge at Castle Pines
Bundle up and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa on a holiday carriage ride through Castle Pines. Reservations are required for this event, and carriages fill up quickly. Please register each member of your party individually to ensure there is enough space on the carriage for everyone. This event is only open to Castle Pines residents and their guests. *Please also note that carriage rides may not happen if there is inclement weather due to horse safety concerns.
