Castle Pines has proclaimed the week of March 20th to be Puppies with a Purpose Week in Castle Pines! This week acknowledges the benefits of service dogs and encourages our community members to learn more about these wonderful dogs and this program.
Service dogs are specifically trained for the special needs of the handler and are provided to handlers at no cost to the them and their family. These dogs help with an array of people including people with disabilities, veterans with PTSD, children with autism, and people with traumatic brain injuries.
The Colorado State Society of the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution are holding the 74th Annual State Conference on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the Colorado State President’s project, “Supporting Puppies With A Purpose," raises funds, volunteers, and supplies for Freedom Service Dogs of America.
