The City of Castle Pines recently submitted two grant applications for transportation projects. These projects include:

- Monarch Boulevard Bike Lanes from Winter Berry Place to the northern City limits

- Work includes engineering design, environmental work, and construction of new six-foot-wide bike lanes, intersection improvements and crosswalk markings on Monarch Boulevard between Winter Berry Place and the northern City limits.

- Design activities for improvements to the I-25 and Happy Canyon Road interchange

- Work includes engineering design and environmental work for the replacement and modernization of the I-25 and Happy Canyon Road interchange and nearby infrastructure.

- Monarch Boulevard Bike Lanes from Winter Berry Place to the northern City limits
As a part of the funding request, the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is seeking public input on all of the projects in the Denver Metro that applied for funding through this grant process. You can help support the City's projects by logging onto the DRCOG public comment portal and commenting on the value and need for this project in our community. To provide comments, please follow the instructions below:

- Click on the link below, which will take you to the public comment webpage on DRCOG's website.
- Click on the "Launch Map" button near the bottom of the page.
- Select "I-25 and Happy Canyon Interchange - Preconstruct..." or "Monarch Blvd. Bike Lanes: Winter Berry Pl. to City..." from the right-hand navigation bar or by zooming in and selecting the projects from the map.
- Select the blue box above the "comments" section.
- Complete the form and submit your comments for both projects.
