The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a meeting on May 21. Meeting highlights include:

- City Manager Michael Penny and Finance Director Mike Farina led a study session presentation about the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board ordinance and the history of parks and recreation funding in Castle Pines.

About the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to parks and recreation, including legislative policies, the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities. The Board consists of five residents from various backgrounds who are appointed by the City Council. The Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Castle Pines Library, 360 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines, or virtually.
