Land Use
The Community Development Department is responsible for managing the current and future land use development pattern for the City of Castle Pines. This work includes the writing and implementation of long-range planning documents, such as the City’s Comprehensive Plan, which provides a vision and guide for development activities in Castle Pines. The Community Development Department produces and utilizes a wide range of reports and studies in creating long-range policy plans, such as demographic data, population statistics and projections, and sustainability indexes.
