The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a meeting on June 18. Meeting highlights include:
- Verification of the trails that need to be named on the east side of the city.
- The board discussed and passed a recommendation to name eight trails. City Council will review and consider a vote on the proposed names at a future City Council meeting.

About the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to parks and recreation, including legislative policies, the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities. The Board consists of five residents from various backgrounds who are appointed by the City Council. The Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Castle Pines Library, 360 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines, or virtually.
