After evaluating fire and fuel conditions, as well as current weather and forecasts, Sheriff Darren Weekly has decided to rescind Stage 1 Fire restrictions in unincorporated Douglas County, as well as the City of Castle Pines and the Town of Larkspur, effective immediately.
While restrictions are no longer in place, we remind all residents and visitors that fire safety is a year-round responsibility. Please continue to practice caution with outdoor fires, campfires, outdoor equipment, and disposal of smoking materials. Thank you to our community for your cooperation in keeping Douglas County safe!
