The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a meeting on September 17. Meeting highlights include:
- Approving a recommendation for trail signage at the start, midpoint, and end of each trail segment in the Castle Pines trail network.
- Requesting additional phasing options for Soaring Hawk Park. The discussion will continue during the October Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meeting.
- Staff provided an update on the construction of Phase One improvements to Coyote Ridge Park.

About the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to parks and recreation, including legislative policies, the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities. The Board consists of five residents from various backgrounds who are appointed by the City Council. The Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Castle Pines Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive) or virtually.
