The Castle Pines City Council held a meeting on April 28. Meeting highlights include:
- Approving the acceptance of a permanent drainage facility and access easement from Douglas County.
- Approving a third amendment to the intergovernmental agreement with the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District for the design and construction of drainage and flood control improvements for Happy Canyon Creek at Monarch Boulevard.
- Approving an ordinance to impose regulations on the operation of off-highway vehicles and low-speed electric vehicles within Castle Pines.
- Approving a construction contract with HEI Civil Shared Services, LLC for the reconstruction of westbound Castle Pines Parkway between Monarch Boulevard and Forest Park Drive.
- Approving an intergovernmental agreement with the Castle Pines North Metropolitan District related to the reconstruction of westbound Castle Pines Parkway between Monarch Boulevard and Forest Park Drive, including the replacement of water line infrastructure.
- Approving a construction contract with Nicholas Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Monarch Boulevard and Buffalo Trail roundabout monument.
- An update from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
