The Castle Pines City Council held a meeting on August 11. Meeting highlights include:
- Approving an intergovernmental agreement with the Douglas County Clerk and Recorder for a coordinated election to be held on November 3, 2026.
- A presentation of the 2025 audited financial statements.
- During the meeting, Council postponed the consideration of a resolution to adopt an Annexation Policy to the August 25 City Council meeting. City Council will hold a listening session on August 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Castle Pines Community Center (7404 Yorkshire Drive) to hear from residents about the draft policy.
