Fall Festival, Trick-or-Treat Street, and Pumpkin Race

It's a day jam-packed with fun free activities for the whole family to celebrate the fall season! Enjoy Trick-or-Treat Street, a pumpkin race, farmer's market, petting zoo, and (new this year) a chili cookoff!

At 1 p.m. the annual Castle Pines Pumpkin Race will take place. To participate in the race, bring your pumpkin in its race car form.

If you'd like a race kit to get your pumpkin all ready to race, the City has them available for purchase.

Register to participate WITHOUT purchasing a race kit from the City

Register to participate AND PURCHASE a race kit for $25 from the City (Click on "Programs" and "Annual Pumpkin Race 2026.) Kits must be purchased by Thursday, October 22 at 5 p.m. and must be picked up from the City offices at 7437 Village Square Drive, Suite #200 by Friday, October 23 at noon. (Office is closed for lunch from 12-1 p.m. each day.)

Bonfire, BBQ, and Brews

Get ready for a special fall evening, filled with making smores over bonfires, delicious BBQ, and some tasty brews. Tickets are $42 for adults (21+) and $30 for children (under 21) and include:

  • A BBQ meal
  • Variety of drink selections (21+)
  • Everything you need to make s'mores
  • Access to the firepits
  • Live music from the band Darling Revival

Due to limited capacity, all ticket sales are final.

Bonfire, BBQ, and Brews

Join the Castle Pines community's Bonfire, BBQ, and Brews event on Friday, Oct. 24 from 5-7 pm! Tickets required. Here's what's included:

  • A bbq meal
  • Variety of drink selections (21+)
  • All the items needed to make s'mores
  • Access to the firepits
  • Live music from the band Narrow Gauge - Colorado's top rated country and rock cover band (Check them out!)
  • Use of high-powered telescopes to search the skies for stars

Castle Pines Pumpkin Race

Join us for the third annual Castle Pines Pumpkin Race! This Fall Fest event gives you the chance to design and create your own pumpkin "race car" to compete against other Castle Pines residents. You can either bring your decorated pumpkin, complete with wheels, or purchase a racing kit to pick up from the Castle Pines Municipal Office. Need to purchase a kit? Register and purchase a kit to participate. After purchasing a kit, it can be picked up from the City offices at 7437 Village Square Drive, Suite 200. Offices are open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1-4:30 p.m.

Already have a kit or want to make a car from scratch? Register to participate without purchasing a new kit.

Trick-or-Treat Street

Calling all little ghosts and goblins! Make your way through the businesses along Castle Pines Parkway and through the Village at Castle Pines. Just look for a sign with a pumpkin and "Trick-or-Treat Street" in front of the business and join in the trick-or-treat fun!

Fall Festival

Mark your calendars for a day of fun for the whole family!

On Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the City’s Fall Festival will be held at the Village Square shopping area.

Activities will include:

  • Pumpkin Patch: Select a pumpkin to take home from the festival pumpkin patch.
  • Music: Enjoy live music from a DJ.
  • Inflatables & games: Enjoy a variety of thrills from bungee trampolines, axe throwing, and a mechanical bull.
  • Face Painting: Unleash your creativity and transform into your favorite characters or creatures with our fantastic face painting artists!
  • Hayrides: Experience the season's charm with a relaxing hayride around the Village Square area. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
  • Petting Zoo: Don't miss the chance to meet and greet adorable animals at our petting zoo – a treat for all ages!
  • Food Trucks: Savor the flavors of the season with a variety of food trucks. From savory delights to sweet treats, there's something for every palate.
  • Pumpkin Race: Enter your own pumpkin racecar to race down the track in this exciting competition.

Gather your friends and family and join us at the Village Square shopping area on October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for a day filled with laughter, joy, and fun for all ages.
