The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a meeting on February 19. Meeting highlights include:
- An update about the upcoming renovations at Coyote Ridge Park, including a reduction in the cost estimate.
- A discussion and recommendation for perimeter landscape design for the area adjacent to the Monarch Boulevard and Buffalo Trail roundabout.
- The trail naming process continued for trails 15-23.

About the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to parks and recreation, including legislative policies, the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities. The Board consists of five residents from various backgrounds who are appointed by the City Council. The Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Castle Pines Library, 360 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines, or virtually.
