The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a meeting on October 23. Meeting highlights include:
- The Board supported the proposed 2026 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Budget proposal. The proposal will be reviewed by City Council during the November 11 City Council meeting as part of the 2026 Annual Budget development process.
- An update on project schedules for capital improvement projects, including improvements to Coyote Ridge Park.
- A continuation of the trail naming discussion for existing trails.

About the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to parks and recreation, including legislative policies, the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities.
