Fall Festival, Trick-or-Treat Street, and Pumpkin Race

Please note: Due to limited space and the large number of people we expect to attend, please do not bring dogs, e-bikes, or e-scooters to this event.

It's a day jam-packed with fun free activities for the whole family to celebrate the fall season! Enjoy Trick-or-Treat Street, a pumpkin race, farmer's market, petting zoo, and more!

At 1 p.m. the annual Castle Pines Pumpkin Race will take place. To participate in the race, bring your pumpkin in its race car form.

If you'd like a race kit to get your pumpkin all ready to race, the City has them available for purchase.

Unfortunately, due to lack of registrations we will not be holding the chili cookoff.

Bonfire, BBQ, and Brews

Tickets may be purchased at the event - CASH ONLY.

Due to limited space and the large number of people we expect to attend, please do not bring dogs to this event.

Get ready for a special fall evening, filled with making s'mores over fire pits, delicious BBQ, and some tasty brews. Tickets are $42 for adults (21+) and $30 for children (under 21) and include:

A BBQ meal
Variety of drink selections (21+)
Everything you need to make s'mores
Access to the firepits
Live music from the band Darling Revival

Due to limited capacity, all ticket sales are final.

Slash Collection Day

Gather any tree limbs, prunings, pine needles, or other yard debris and bring them for free disposal during the City's Slash Collection event.

All vegetation is allowed. Please limit the diameter of trunks or limbs to less than 16 inches. No lumber is allowed, and please ensure there is no metal (nails, screws, etc.) or rocks in the materials you drop off.

"Slash" is debris from nature, such as tree limbs, prunings, and pine needles. If not removed, slash can increase potential fire hazards on your property. Removing slash and creating defensible space around your home is the first line of defense against wildfires.

Summer Splash Water Day

Summer Splash Day will be on Wednesday, August 5!

Castle Pines residents are invited to enjoy a mid-week summer break during the Summer Splash Water Day! Get ready to glide down the free water slides and frolic in an epic foam party! It'll be a day filled with laughter, splashes, and unforgettable memories. A live DJ and food trucks will be available when you need a break.

Participants under 18 must be supervised by a parent or designated guardian during the entirety of the event. Children cannot be dropped off.

All participants must complete a waiver (those under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.) Waivers will be available to fill out when checking in at the event.

Drive-In Movie

This event has reached capacity, so registration is now closed.

If weather requires us to cancel this event we will post it here.

Gather your family, friends, and neighbors for a night of nostalgia, where classic drive-in fun meets modern-day cinema for an unforgettable evening under the stars! We'll be watching Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they track a pit viper across Zootopia in the film Zootopia 2.

Parking opens at 5:30 p.m.; movie starts at 7 p.m. Location is future Soaring Hawk Park (east of the Canyonside Boulevard and Cross Canyon Trail intersection in The Canyons). Cost is $10 per vehicle.

If space is available at the event, vehicles may purchase a ticket at the entrance (cash only). However, space is not guaranteed.

Party in the Park

This annual event brings neighbors together for an evening of live music by the band Yachty Got Back, food, kids' activities, vendor booths, and more! It will also feature "Stories in the Sky", a spectacular drone show to celebrate Colorado's 150th and America's 250th birthdays! "Stories in the Sky" is a signature initiative of the America 250- Colorado 150 Commission and is sponsored by Chevron, Tallgrass, UCHealth, and the Colorado Lottery in partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office.

Because of the large number of people at this event, please do not bring dogs, e-bikes, or e-scooters.

Pre-ordering for the In-N-Out food truck is no longer available, but you may place an order at the event.

New this year! Skip the parking hassle and ride with us. To make getting to Party in the Park as easy as possible, complimentary shuttle service will be available throughout the event. Parking at Elk Ridge Park is limited, so guests may park at the Castle Pines Market Place Shopping Center at 558 Castle Pines Parkway (old Safeway) parking lot and enjoy a quick and easy ride to the party. Shuttles will run from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Rueter-Hess Day

Capacity has been reached for Castle Pines Day at Rueter-Hess Reservoir. Registration is no longer available.

2026 Summer Concert Series: Concert #3

The final show of this year's Summer Concert Series will feature a fan favorite - The Long Run, playing all of our favorites from The Eagles. Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs to "Take it Easy" while enjoying some great tunes. (Note earlier time than previous concerts - this one will be from 5 - 7 p.m.)

2026 Summer Concert Series: Concert #2

This show will feature the band Narrow Gauge - an award-winning Colorado country and rock cover band, known for their energetic performances. Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs, even though you may not need them because you'll probably be dancing most of the time!

Coffee Klatch with Tracy

Join Mayor Tracy Engerman for "Coffee Klatch with Tracy" at The Exchange Coffee House (1415 Westbridge Drive) from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9. Swing by for a quick chat, to ask questions, to learn more about upcoming City activities, or to just say "hello." We'll see you there!

"Coffee klatch" originates from the German word "kaffeeklatsch" and refers to a gathering of friends over a cup of coffee.
