The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board held a meeting on September 18. Meeting highlights include:
- Recommending approval of improvements to the baseball field at Coyote Ridge Park, including fencing, foul poles, shaded dugouts, players' benches, a new backstop, and making the field a regulation size. City Council will consider the recommendation at a future City Council meeting.
- A continuation of the trail naming process for public trails in the community.

About the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council on issues related to parks and recreation, including legislative policies, the City’s Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, as well as policies for the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities. The Board consists of five residents from various backgrounds who are appointed by the City Council. The Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 4:30 p.m. in the Castle Pines Library, 360 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines, or virtually.
